Saturday 25th April 2026 is ANZAC Day, one of our country’s most pivotal national holidays, where we gather to pay our respects to the courageous fallen servicemen and women who sacrificed their lives for the greater good. It’s the day where even non-morning folk are up-and-at-it before the birds – and wouldn’t have it any other way. This year will mark the 111th anniversary of the Gallipoli landings, and the bravery and heroic actions of these selfless souls will never be forgotten.
The Gold Coast hosts a number of dawn services, plus opportunities for us all to come together afterward with friends and family, share a drink and a game of two up.

ANZAC DAY SERVICES
Dawn Service 5.45am
Held at Chris Cunningham Park, Wharf Street, Tweed Heads
Anzac Day Service 11am
Main March. Form at 10am in Boundary Street, Tweed Heads. March off 10:30am. 1Main Service commences at 11am in Chris Cunningham Park, Wharf St Tweed Heads.
Dawn Service 5am – 7am
The march will commence at 4:40am, leading the way to the solemn dawn service at 5am. Held at Elephant Rock on Currumbin Beach, 741 Pacific Parade Currumbin.
Anzac Day Service 10.30am – 11.30am
At 10:35am assemble at Winders Park, Duringun St Currumbin for a march off at 10:55am followed by a commemorative service at the Currumbin RSL Cenotaph, Currumbin

Held at the Cenotaph in Memorial Park, Burleigh Heads, corner of Gold Coast Hwy and Connor St, Burleigh Heads
Anzac Day Ceremony 9.40am
Veterans Parade will commence at 9:40am and the commemoration will be held at 10:00am.

The Dawn Parade commences at 5:00am on Beach Road. Please form up at 4:45am at 9 Beach Road (outside the Subway), Surfers Paradise

Anzac Day Ceremony 12pm – 1pm
Held at The Cenotaph, Cavill Park, opposite The Cavill Hotel, Surfers Paradise

Held at the Cenotaph, Nerang RSL and Memorial Club, 69 Nerang Street, Nerang
Anzac Day March 9.20am – 9.40am
The march form up point is located at the Maid of Sker end of Nerang Street at 9:20am for a 9:40am step off.

The Dawn Service is at Anzac Park, Broadwater Parklands, starting at 5am.
Anzac Day Main Service 9am
In the time-honoured tradition of ANZAC Day services, the main Southport ANZAC Day Ceremony will include the laying of wreaths, the playing of the Last Post and the observance of a minute’s silence. The service will commence at 9am.

The ANZAC Day Dawn Service is held at Anzac Park, adjacent to the Runaway Bay Library, Lae Drive, Runaway Bay
Anzac Day March 9.30am
The ANZAC Day March will form up in Sports Drive, Seagulls Ruby League Carpark, and step off at 09:30am. March to proceed south on Morala Ave, east on Lea Dr, and finish at the ANZAC Park Cenotaph, adjacent to the Runaway Bay Library.

Dawn Service 5.20am
Held in Remembrance Park (behind Club Helensvale), 20 Discovery Drive, Helensvale

March form up point Village Green, Mudgeeraba at 3pm for a 3:30pm step off.
Anzac Day Sunset Service 3.30pm – 5.30pm

March form up point Arbour Lane (opposite Target) – Robina Town Centre, Robina at 8am for a 8.30am start.

Twin Towns has put together a special ANZAC Day to remember, featuring a Gunfire Breakfast and commemorative show, the Main Service, free kids refreshments following the march, and over 10 hours of live entertainment from 1pm.

1pm-5pm – Free entertainment by The Smashed Crabs Duo
3pm – Under 18’s to vacate the club
Dusk – Club ANZAC Day activities end at 5pm approximately.

From 11am, Robina Pavilion will host a Burleigh Brewing Pop Up Bar this Anzac Day. Enjoy Two Up games starting at 2pm and chefs specials all day.

ANZAC Day Races at Beaudesert Race Club is a long-held local tradition that brings the town together, both young, old and all those in between! Come along for a great day of racing and remember our diggers for the sacrifice they made to enable us to enjoy days like this. Gates open at 11am and admission is $10 for adults (free for children, pensioners, servicemen & women, and veterans).
