Blues on Broadbeach

Blues on Broadbeach is turning up the volume as it builds momentum for its 25th anniversary, revealing a stellar second lineup for the 14–17 May 2026 festival on the Gold Coast.

Joining the already impressive program are a mix of international heavyweights, Australian icons and festival favourites including Ian Moss, Ruthie Foster, MonoNeon, The Bamboos, Grace Cummings, Hussy Hicks, Jimi Hocking, Minnie Marks and Cass Eager, alongside a huge roster of blues talent set to light up stages across Broadbeach.

One of the biggest highlights of the weekend is the Sunday Ticket, with a special ticketed show from The Teskey Brothers, joined by special guests Emma Donovan and Ash Grunwald. If you’ve seen any of them live before, you already know this is going to be something special. And if you haven’t… now’s your chance! Book your tickets here.

Returning to where it all began, Australian music icon Ian Moss will once again take the stage at the free four-day festival, having performed at the very first event back in 2002. From his legendary years with Cold Chisel to his hugely successful solo career, Moss remains one of the country’s most revered guitarists and vocalists.

Also joining the anniversary program is Grammy Award-winning bassist MonoNeon, the boundary-pushing Memphis artist known for his work with Prince and electrifying live shows that have wowed audiences at festivals around the world.

Melbourne soul and funk favourites The Bamboos will make their third Blues on Broadbeach appearance, joined by acclaimed contemporary folk artist Grace Cummings, who is set to make her festival debut.

Festival favourites Hussy Hicks return with their signature genre-blending energy, alongside award-winning bluesman Jimi Hocking, a long-time festival regular celebrated for his masterful guitar work and storytelling.

Audiences can also look forward to powerhouse performer Minnie Marks and celebrated songwriter Cass Eager, who will bring her award-winning R&B-infused storytelling to the stage.

For 25 years, Blues on Broadbeach has transformed the Gold Coast into a rhythm and blues haven and the journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. What began in 2002 as a modest two-stage event welcoming around 5,000 attendees has grown into one of Australia’s largest music festivals, showcasing more than 600 artists across a quarter of a century. The 2026 edition promises to raise the bar even higher, expanding across more venues throughout the beachside precinct while continuing its legacy as a must-attend live music celebration.
