She is the ultimate tantaLISAtion for your ears and if you haven’t figured out who we’re talking about yet, then perhaps we need to rethink the capitaLISAtion of our words.

Now if you don’t know the DL on this American-born Byron Bay based dynamo, allow us to catch you up to speed.

Lisa’s musical journey is steeped in the rich tapestry of American African gospel goodness.

It was in the hallowed halls of the gospel church that the seeds of her sensational singing style were sown, destined to bloom into something truly extraordinary.

As the years danced by, Lisa took her tunes on some whirlwind world tours, sharing stages and studios with the true titans of showbiz.

Reading like the who’s who of music royalty, she’s gotten pitch perfect with Pavarotti, jammed with James Brown, ripped it up with Ray Charles, and melodised with Miles Davis. Down under, she’s performed with national treasures like Jimmy Barnes and Midnight Oil, leaving a trail of awe-stuck Aussies in her wake.

Across the globe, from the Swiss Alps to the sultry streets of New Orleans, Lisa has drawn crowds to shows like shopoholics to the Black Friday sales.

Blues to Bop in Switzerland was never the same after Lisa and her band hit the stage, her soulful swagger leaving revellers’ jaws on the floor (the dancefloor that is).

Plus, Russia’s Fausto Pirito declared this vocal volcano “a true force of nature.”

Mic drop.

February & March are for feasting

$20 off at Harvest Buffet? BRB, clearing my calendar.

There’s never a bad time to hit up an all-you-can-eat, but if there was a perfect time, it’s right now. Harvest Buffet at The Star Gold Coast is throwing down a deal that’s too good to ignore—$20 off lunch and dinner during February and March! That means more food, less guilt, and maximum feasting potential. If you needed a sign to round up your crew for an indulgent, borderline outrageous buffet session, this is it.

Let’s break it down: if you’re 13 or over (sorry, kiddos), you get $20 off per person. Take mum, dad, grandma, grandpa and the kids? That’s $80 staying right in your pocket. Go back for round two, and you’ve saved $160. That’s basic girl maths, and frankly, it’s a no-brainer. And if you’re anything like us, the idea of an unlimited spread at a discount is the kind of financial planning we can get behind.

While Lunar New Year is over, Harvest is continuing the celebration throughout February by levelling up the menu with an Asian-inspired spread that’ll have you wishing you had a second stomach. We’re talking sticky sweet and sour pork, saucy chicken black bean, crispy spring rolls and perfectly fluffy egg-fried rice. Oh, and if you drop by on the weekend? Roasted duck joins the lineup. Drooling? Same. It’s the kind of meal that demands multiple rounds, a strategic game plan and a break in between courses to pace yourself.

Of course, the regular Harvest lineup isn’t going anywhere, which means all the fresh seafood, hearty roasts, Mediterranean delights, antipasti, soups, salads, and desserts your heart desires. Expect fresh prawns, tender cuts of meat straight from the carvery, and a selection of cheeses and charcuterie that would make any foodie swoon. And let’s be real—no trip to Harvest is complete without a visit (or three) to the legendary chocolate fountain and free-flowing soft-serve station. Priorities. Load up on your faves, then finish strong with a sugar-fuelled finale.

This is the kind of deal that doesn’t come around often, so if you’ve ever wanted an excuse to eat your weight in dumplings and seafood and dessert, consider this it. Whether it’s a long-overdue catch-up with friends, a family get-together, or simply a well-earned treat-yourself moment, Harvest Buffet is where February & March feasting dreams come true.
