Island Amore, a seasonal takeover running through July and August, is bringing big Amalfi Coast energy to the heart of the Gold Coast, complete with citrusy Malfy Gin cocktails, wood-fired pizzas, and the kind of vibes that make you forget you ever needed a jacket.

Taking place across both The Island Rooftop and Goldie’s, this is your official invite to ditch the doona and head skyward for a little slice of sunshine, even if it’s technically sweater weather.

At the centre of the action? A curated lineup of Mediterranean-inspired cocktails, each crafted with Malfy Gin and bursting with the kind of flavours that practically sing “la dolce vita”. There’s the Elderflower Spritz with its floral fizz, the refreshing Malfy Eastside (hello cucumber and mint), and a punchy Passionfruit & Vanilla Spritz for those who like things a little sweet and sassy.

Pair any two cocktails with one of The Island’s signature wood-fired pizzas for just $55. Yep, we’re talking golden, hand-stretched, flame-licked goodness, perfect for sharing, or not (we’re not here to judge). The pizzas are loaded with quality toppings and served hot enough to keep those winter chills at bay.

Want to just pop in for drinks? There’s a special for that too. Grab two cocktails and pretend you’re lounging somewhere on the coast of Italy. The rooftop’s got you covered with toasty fire pits, plush seating, and a killer view that’s even better as the sun starts to dip. DJ sets, warm lighting, and the buzz of golden hour only add to the escape-from-it-all feel.
