Pumpkin hunts and haunted nights await this Halloween at Paradise Centre.

Hold onto your witches’ hats, Gold Coast! This Halloween, Paradise Centre is pulling out all the tricks (and treats!) to become the ultimate haunt for both families and thrill-seekers. From a pumpkin-packed treasure hunt to the launch of the Gold Coast’s newest scare attraction, it’s set to be a frightfully good time for everyone.
The action kicks off on Friday 31st October with the Paradise Pumpkin Hunt, a free family-friendly adventure running from 4pm to 8pm. Families can register at the Pumpkin Gate on Level 1, where the first 100 participants will receive a complimentary pumpkin bucket to start their hunt. Using a QR code trail, kids will follow clues throughout the centre, collecting letters to solve a secret word and claim a special prize. It’s a night designed to be more charming than chilling, giving families a safe and entertaining way to celebrate Halloween together.

While the little ones are busy hunting pumpkins, seasoned Halloweeners can prepare for something much darker. 31st October also marks the grand opening of Door Seven, an immersive horror experience set to redefine scares on the Gold Coast. Created by the team behind Padlock’d Escape Rooms, this new attraction promises heart-pounding tension with live actors, eerie soundscapes and cinematic special effects. The experience throws visitors into a series of terrifying scenarios where every shadow might be hiding something sinister.

But the thrills don’t end there. The entire Paradise Centre is in full Halloween mode, with shops and restaurants joining in on the fun. Wendy’s is serving limited-edition Frosty Frights, Krispy Kreme has unleashed its new Trick or Treat doughnut range and Starbucks is all about the Pumpkin Spice sips.
The Sporting Globe is adding some competitive spirit with its Halloween Horror Trivia on 29th October, while Surfers Beer Garden will throw a costume party on Halloween night with spooky cocktails, live music and prizes for the best dressed.

El Camino Cantina is hosting its famous Fiesta de Vida, a Halloween-meets-Day of the Dead celebration over two huge weekends of tacos, tequila and live entertainment. On Friday 24th and Saturday 25th October, and again on Friday 31st October and Saturday 1st November, the venue will come alive with DJs, costume competitions, face painting and food specials.
Even the entertainment venues are getting into the spirit. Timezone and Zone Bowling are running Halloween promotions with bonus game credits and plush toy giveaways for players who load up their game cards. Everywhere you look, there’s a hint of something spooky in the air, and plenty of reasons to linger a little longer at Paradise Centre.

From the giggles of children following pumpkin clues to the screams echoing from Door Seven, Paradise Centre promises both magic and mayhem in equal measure.
