Swipe right on these delicious treats!
Swipe right on these delicious treats!

If retail therapy is your cardio, then a trip to Pacific Fair simply must include some sort of edible reward to fuel you up for a day of dazzling designer deals. Lucky for us, our favourite GC shopping haunt is choc-a-block (pun intended) with drool-worthy sweet treats. Whether you’re a sucker for sprinkles, bananas for Biscoff, or fanging for froyo, this sugar-loaded lineup will hit you right in the molars (apologies to your dentist).

First up, the TikTok-famous Brooke Bellamy’s Brooki Bakehouse has finally dropped into Pac Fair, and yep – the cookies are just as chunky and gooey as they look online. Baked in Brisbane, delivered daily, and devoured in minutes, think NYC-style cookies, cupcakes, brownies and other utterly irresistible buttery bites. For us, it’s all about the Red Velvet Cookie and we’re also snagging a Brooki apron for a pop of pink and the illusion that we actually know what we’re doing in the kitchen!

Next, it’s time to swirl into YOMG (Yo My Goodness) for a self-serve froyo fantasy – we’re talking handcrafted, creamy, artisan soft serve made with real milk, proper yoghurt, and unique flavour combos that will make even the most discerning sweet tooth drool. Their current showstopper? The Biscoff Ripple with Oreo – a vegan-friendly swirl of caramelised biscuit glory and don’t forget to go your hardest at the toppings bar (no judgement).
Joe’s Deli might look like it specialises in sandwiches (which it does – and they’re the business), but behind the pastrami lies a cheesecake that’ll send your chats into a chokehold. The Two-Tone Hollywood Cheesecake is decadence 101, drizzled in Nutella and topped with brûléed marshmallow. Based on a family recipe, it’s sweet, sentimental and utterly irresistible – like a rom-com in dessert form.

If you prefer your treats with a side of European flair, Gelatissimo is your go-to. These gelato geniuses churn out scrumptious small-batch scoops using traditional techniques and not-so-traditional combos. Mango Tango? Brownie Explosion? Dubai Chocolate? Yes, yes, and absolutely yes. Bonus points for their vegan and dairy-free options, because everyone deserves a scoop of the good stuff.

Feeling like being a little bit healthy while still smashing dessert? Oakberry has you covered. These açaí bowls are antioxidant-rich, fibre-filled, and topped to high heaven with whatever your sweet little heart (or tooth) desires. Perhaps fresh fruit, chia pudding, coconut, or our fave, vegan granola? Oh and PS, did we mention said toppings are unlimited (yes, really), so make this all-you-can-eat buffet of wellness a must next time you’re shopping up a storm.
Want to tuck into the chocolate strawberry cup that broke the internet harder than Kimmy K and ‘very mindful, very demure’ combined? Then you need to experience Choco Drip’s chocolate-covered fruit cups which are almost too pretty to eat (almost). Think glossy strawberries, premium chocolate, crunchy kataifi and Middle Eastern flair with names like Dubai Pistachio Knafeh. It’s luxury in a cup. BYO stretchy pants.

Last but certainly not least, you simply can’t miss the açaí OGs turned dessert icons at Blessed Bowls. The new range is as bold as it is bougee, with their Blessed Dubai Knafeh Cup stealing the show. Think strawberries, Pistachio Papi, milk chocolate, chopped pistachios and their signature knafeh crunch. Want to dip instead? The Strawberry Fondue Cups come with your choice of Nutella, Biscoff, white or milk choc, plus brownie bites and knafeh crunch extras. Amen!
So, consider this your official permission slip to skip lunch, shop hard, and dessert harder at Pac Fair.
What are you waiting for? Make like a cookie and crumble!

Bowl’d claim we know, but trust us.

After a long day in the surf, there is nothing we want more than an ice-cold acai bowl to cool down and refuel. I guess you could say it’s an acai for sore eyes – see what we did there?
Okay, but does anyone really remember life before acai? That delicious little berry from the Amazon has been a breakfast, lunch and snack staple for Gold Coasters for years and because we take our jobs very seriously, we’ve done the heavy lifting (see: eating) so that you can kick back and chow down. Don’t mind us while we add acai aficionado to our resumé.

Okay, so you know it’s going to be good when they literally only make acai. Popping up all over the Coast, Oakberry has locations in all your favourite spots, so a bowl is never far away. What do we love most about the Oakberry acai bowl, you ask? No two are the same. It’s a choose-your-own-adventure vibe with bulk flavours, textures and toppings to create your custom flavour. We’re also low-key big fans of the fact that they come in cup-size containers too. No more praying your acai bowl won’t spill in the car on the drive home.
Where: Pretty much everywhere – Surfers Paradise, Burleigh Heads, BSKT at Nobby Beach, Broadbeach, Pacific Fair, Coolangatta, The Pines, Robina and Paradise Point
They’ve served 4,117,946 bowls and counting (literally, you can watch it on their website). So it’s clear, they know how to make a good acai. Their acai bowls feel like a nauti treat, but they’re more like a serving of superfoods, made plant-based, with organic, soy-free and gluten-free ingredients! We recommend the Blue Bay Bowl made with Blue Majik, açaí, coconut, spirulina and chia, and topped with granola, banana, strawberries, and coconut butter crumbles– yummmmmmmm.
Where: Paradise Centre, Surfers Paradise, Q Super Centre, Mermaid Waters and Harbour Town, Biggera Waters

Maybe some of the most instagrammable bowls on the GC, Cardamom Pod’s bowls are truly a work of art. Loaded with colourful toppings and flavours like mango mousse, blue spirulina crème and a protein ball, the colourful mermaid tail finisher makes it feel almost too pretty to eat… Almost.
Where: 3/3 Brolga Ave, Southport
Get ready for a towering swirl of creamy acai- the ultimate soft-serve dream. Each bowl is loaded with fresh strawberries, bananas, and crunchy granola. You can then drizzle on your favourite sauce or get adventurous with something new. Fan favourites? Biscoff, Bueno and Pistachio. Drool! Their acai feels like a dessert, but there’s deep-fried ice cream if you want to send that sweet tooth on a home run. We drool again**
Where: Shop 2/ 32 Davenport Street, Southport

If you’re searching for acai perfection, look no further than Blendlove in Southport. The team behind this plant-based haven has been mastering the art of the perfect bowl for years, and it’s no surprise that it’s one of our faves on the Coast. Top yours with seasonal fruit and flaked coconut buckinis, and it’s like summer in a bowl.
Where: 1/253 Ferry Road, Southport
You probably already know them for their frozen yoghurt and if you don’t, then where have you been, honestly? Now they’re swirling up acai at both their Gold Coast locations and want to know what the best part is? You can swirl as little or as much as your tum desires AND build your perfect bowl with all of the iconic Yo-Chi toppings you know and love.
Where: 11/3240 Surfers Paradise Blvd, Surfers Paradise and 89 Surf Parade, Broadbeach, Shop 1009/19 Robina Town Centre Dr, Robina and 27 Connor St, Burleigh Heads

Taking the classic acai bowl to a whole new level, Goji Granola Bar is where locals flock, and celebrities are spotted when visiting our beachside haven. Anything but your average acai bowl, Goji’s signature Coco Fluff vegan ice cream is the hero topper, of course, with flavours changing weekly. Add fruit for something fresh or a churro if you want to indulge.
Where: 7/60 Santa Cruz Boulevard, Clear Island Waters
We’re feeling #blessed (sorry, we had to) that we have our very own Blessed Bowls on the Gold Coast. Hello, they do Dessert Night Hours?! You know the Brownie Acai is our go-to, with an acai base topped with organic granola, coco soft-serve, strawberries, brownie bites, cacao sauce and cacao nibs. They also have an OG, Peanut Bliss, Caramel Crunch, Choccy Blessed, Berry Blessed, Biscoff Acai and the Naked Acai. #heaven (again, we had to).
Where: Pacific Fair, 32 Hooker Blvd, Broadbeach Waters

This corner-side hangout spot has long been the locals’ favourite place to grab a coffee and a bite post-swim/surf – and it’s easy to see why. Dreamy décor and fantastic breakfast and lunchtime menus mean this is the kind of place you want to visit on the regular with salty hair and sand between your toes.
Our pick: Get the Beach Lover Acai Bowl and don’t look back! All of the bright and zesty additions you’d expect but with a healthy dollop of peanut butter as its crown of glory.
Where: 2557 Gold Coast Highway, Mermaid Beach
As classic as they come, Nobbys Shack has the traditional acai combo you know and love or another with a cheeky twist. Try the Buzzing Espresso for an unexpected flavour sensation with acai, coffee, banana, protein powder and coconut milk topped with muesli, coffee beans, cacao nibs, banana and fresh fruit– energy for days!
Where: 2241 Gold Coast Hwy, Nobby Beach

If you like big bowls and you cannot lie or you’re a southern Gold Coaster looking for your acai fix then you really don’t need to look further than The Salt Mill. Located in the perfect spot in Currumbin for you to pop in post swim and cool down with a bowl of icy goodness, all while soaking in epic beach front views – yes please! Trust us when we say the bowls are BIG, they’re loaded with crunchy goodness, fresh berries and passionfruit , plus a scoop of peanut butter if that tickles your fancy.
Where: 784 Pacific Parade, Currumbin
Your one-stop-shop for all the significant essentials you need, and of course, some pretty darn good acai bowls! Whilst you wait for the bowl of your dreams, you can grab yourself some super fresh fruit, a candle or two, or even an epic-looking dried flower arrangement to spruce up a space at home.
Our pick: The Choc Acai Bowl for us – this overflowing bowl is blended with raw cacao and almond milk and is topped with ALL of the seasonal fruit imaginable.
Where: 4/467 Golden Four Drive, Tugun

You could say this superfood café have found their niche, think healthy food, good vibes and acai bowls that are anything but average. Our flavour of choice? The Snickers Acai Bowl for the perfect blend of fresh and full of flavour, it’s served with vegan granola, coyo salted caramel mousse, cacao nibs, house peanut butter, activated choc buckinis and salted caramel – it’s almost too good to believe it’s good for you!

Brooki Bakehouse hits the GC.

It’s official. Brooki Bakehouse has landed on the Gold Coast and honestly, we’re emotionally unstable in the best possible way. The internet’s most famous cookie brand, known for its gooey, thicK treats and merch that turns a tote bag into a lifestyle, has opened its first-ever store outside of Brisbane, and it’s right here at Pacific Fair.

If you’ve spent the past few years drooling over cookie pulls and buttercream swirls on Instagram, you’re not alone. This moment has been a long time coming for Gold Coasters. You’ll find Brooki’s dreamy little kiosk on the Ground Floor near Cotton On, and it’s basically a sugar-coated fairy tale come to life. We’re talking pastel pinks, playful signage, and a cabinet so stacked with baked goods, you’ll want to dive in headfirst.

Let’s get into the goods. Brooki is serving up their signature cookies, chewy, chunky, and absolutely not designed for sharing, alongside swirl-topped cupcakes and pastel-perfect macarons that look like they belong on a Pinterest board. Every bite is a main character moment. And don’t even try to leave without scoping out the merch. From pink caps and water bottles to aprons that make you feel (and look) like a professional baker, Brooki has nailed the art of edible fashion.

Now, let’s talk about the grand opening. It was, in a word, chaos. Beautiful, buttercream-frosted chaos. The kiosk was packed, the cookie cabinet was clearing out faster than you could say “red velvet,” and phones were out in full force capturing every sugary second. But the real celebrity moment? Brooke Bellamyherself. Yep, the founder and face of Brooki Bakehouse made an appearance, and fans were lining up not just for cookies, but to meet the woman behind the empire. She was all smiles, chatting to customers, posing for pics and just generally being the queen she is.

And in case you were wondering, this isn’t some blink-and-you’ll-miss-it pop-up. While the current kiosk is a temporary setup, Brooki is here to stay. Brooke and the team are already on the hunt for a permanent home within Pacific Fair, so this is just the beginning of her Gold Coast glow-up. We’ve officially entered our cookie era.

So whether you’re a diehard Brooki fan or a first-timer wondering what all the fuss is about, consider this your sign. Head to Pac Fair, grab yourself a box of baked joy, and experience the sweet sensation for yourself. Trust us, one bite and you’ll get it.

Iconic Australian footwear label, Bared, has launched a brand-new flagship store at Pacific Fair, Gold Coast.
Founded in Melbourne in 2008 by podiatrist turned entrepreneur, Anna Baird, this brand has developed a cult-like following for making shoes that feel as good as they look.
“So much of our brand success comes from our customer service. Online is a huge part of our business, but I absolutely love brick and mortar retailing. It makes me so happy when our amazing team is able to look after our customers in person, and we’re able to create a store environment that is beautiful, relaxed and welcoming. The Gold Coast has changed so much over the past 10 years, and I personally adore it here. For very selfish reasons, I am really excited about now getting to come here for work as well as pleasure.”
From the earth-toned elegance of its light-filled store, to the timeless allure and comfort of the shoes – this is the perfect ‘treat yourself’ store for the festive season.
“We have never had a store in a shopping mall before so it will be fascinating to see the differences in high street shopping. When it came to designing this store, we had a lot of fun playing with a bit more colour. It is not dissimilar to our pop-up store that we currently have in Soho, New York. I worked again with Ben and Amy Stafford at ACRD to design the store – we always work so well together. They make the process very easy even though I can be extremely particular,” says Anna.
