Pappa Flock flies into Surfers Paradise.

Cock-a-doodle-doo, Gold Coasters! Pappa Flock has officially flown the coop and landed smack-bang in the middle of Surfers Paradise, taking up residence in the old Pink Whale space at Paradise Centre on Cavill Ave. And trust us, this one’s no ordinary chicken shop.
This viral sensation has been ruffling Aussie feathers (in the best way), opening 12 restaurants across the country, bringing its famous American-style crispy chicken and fresh-squeezed lemonade to the Gold Coast.

Pappa Flock’s Chief Marketing Officer, Rachel Korbel said, “Surfers is world-famous for incredible energy and vibrant atmosphere, we knew we had to launch right in the heart of the action.”

Designed to mirror the iconic Surfers lifestyle, Pappa Flock’s open-air, sun-soaked space welcomes in the salty breeze from the beach and good vibes from the beach goers. The signature orange decor makes it stand out from the pack and a larger-than-life mural by local artist Kiel Tillman practically screams new local landmark.

If you’ve seen the videos from previous openings, you’ll know Pappa Flock attracts finger-lickin’ chicken lovers from far and wide. The Brisbane launches saw hundreds of Flockers fans queuing for hours (some for over five!) just to get first bite of that golden, crunchy goodness.
So what makes it worth the wait? According to Head Chef Eddie Cofie, it all comes down to freshness.

“We don’t cut corners,” Eddie said. “We’re in the kitchen hand-breading every single tender with our unique spice blend and squeezing over 2,500 lemons daily for our famous lemonade. You can taste that commitment to quality in every bite.”
That’s right, 2,500 lemons a day! Talk about squeezing for success.
Gold Coasters can expect the full flock-load of favourites.

When hunger strikes, hard, you’ll want to go straight in for The Mighty Box, featuring five real chicken tenderloins (classic or spicy), two Pappa Flock signature sauces, seasoned chips, buttery toast, fresh coleslaw with a regular drink of your choice.
Just after a quick bite? Pappa’s signature sandwich, the Crispy Chicken, is 100% real chicken tenderloins, pickles with Pappa’s signature sauce served on a fluffy burger bun.

For the health savvy, the Crispy Chicken Salad features the iconic chicken tenderloins on a bed of fresh kale slaw, cranberries, topped with honey mustard dressing and crunchy activated pepita seed mix.
New on the menu are the Loaded Fries – crispy seasoned chips piled high with juicy tenders, grated cheese, zesty fresh tomato salsa and drizzled with signature sauce.

Wash it all down with a delicious homemade lemonade, made fresh every morning. If you have a crowd, try the 2-litre jug, and for those extra hot days that are on the way, there’s a frozen lemonade too.
So next time you’re strutting down Cavill Ave and looking for a feed, bring the brood to Pappa Flock.
