Christmas in Broadbeach

Broadbeach is serving major festive magic this season, with Broadbeach Mall transforming into a whimsical Gingerbread Village packed with free family fun. Sitting right next to The Oasis Shopping Centre, the interactive village is popping off daily with daytime workshops from 10am–3pm (think gingerbread decorating, Christmas crafts and storytime theatre — bookings required for one-hour sessions), plus The Oasis Treasure Hunt and Santa’s Post Office for little wish-list writers. When the sun goes down, the village keeps glowing from 5pm–8pm with Santa and his elves on site for free selfies and more North Pole mail-sending — no booking needed.

Don’t miss Movies Under the Stars at Kurrawa Park on Friday 19 December, featuring a free beachside screening of Arthur Christmas from 7pm–8.30pm. There’s a covered chill zone near Oasis Coffee for caregivers, and heaps of dining and shopping nearby to make a full day (or night) of it.
