Three back-to-back weekends of epic fun await!
Three back-to-back weekends of epic fun await!

Gold Coasters, it’s time to block your calendar…and the streets! Some of the City Councillors are bringing the good times curbside this October with three back-to-back weekends of epic street festivals you don’t want to miss! That’s three chances to boogie under the stars in the open streets (with permission), munch your way through mouthwatering eats, and raise a glass (or taco) to local businesses doing what they do best.
Bonus number one: all three events are free entry! Bonus number two: your attendance helps support the local businesses who keep this city pumping year-round. How good’s that?! The good times kick off at Nobbys, before heading up to Chirn Park and then back down south to Palm Beach. Let’s get into it!

Nobby’s Street Fiesta
First stop, Nobby’s. This seaside strip is already famous for its foodie flair, but on Saturday 4 October, it’s turning the volume up to muy caliente. Think live latin music that’ll have you shimmying, free entertainment for the whole fam (cue the flamenco dance displays and samba drummers!) and local restaurants serving up their signature food and drinks straight to the street.
Sizzling tacos and icy margaritas will be just the beginning – you’ll be spoiled for choice. So, bring your appetite and your dancing shoes- Nobbys is ready to fiesta like there’s no mañana.
Where: Nobby’s Beach
When: 4pm-8pm, Saturday 4 October, 2025
Organised by Councillor Nick Marshall – City of Gold Coast.

Chirn Park Street Festival
Next up, the lush and leafy village of Chirn Park. On Saturday 11 October, the neighbourhood will be popping with colour, buzzing with tunes, and making you feel like you’ve stumbled into a hidden Euro plaza (minus the jetlag).
Expect live bands across multiple stages, fire performers, and roving entertainers. There will also be an epic free kids zone for the little festival go’er with amusement rides, inflatable fun, and creative art stalls. And just like previous years, local businesses will offer exclusive ‘festival eat plates’ and ‘deals’, so keep an eye out for all the sweet offers coming your way!
Expect the best of local nosh with everything from good ol fish and chips and baked goods, to bánh mì and ramen (plus so much more). It’ll be a smorgasbord for your taste buds and a celebration of the incredible small businesses that give Chirn Park its charm. Bring the fam (doggo included) and ya mates!
Where: Musgrave Avenue, Chirn Park
When: 3pm-9pm, Saturday 11 October, 2025
Organised by Councillor Joe Wilkinson and Councillor Brooke Patterson – City of Gold Coast.

Feast on Fifth
Rounding out the trifecta is Feast on Fifth! And the clue’s in the name, it’s a world-class feast. Think sizzling street eats and epic flavours from over 20 countries, all served up by the city’s best local restaurants and a mouth-watering line-up of supporting food trucks. From smoky Tex-Mex and fragrant Thai, to rich Italian, zesty Latin American and bold Korean BBQ — you can eat your way across the globe in one night. Pair it with live entertainment that’ll keep you moving until your feet beg for mercy, and you’ve got a street party that’s as delicious as it is unforgettable.
Live music and street performers will be setting the vibe from 4pm. It’s free, it’s fun, and it’s the ultimate way to celebrate community, connection, and of course, carbs.
Where: Fifth Avenue, Palm Beach
When: 4pm-9pm, Saturday 18 October, 2025
Organised by Councillor Josh Martin – City of Gold Coast.

Our advice: save yourself the FOMO and score three weekends of FREE entry, stacked entertainment, and eats that are too good to share. What’s more, every dollar you spend goes back into the small businesses that make our local strips thrive. It’s a chance to celebrate what we love most about the Gold Coast: food (obvs), buzzing street life, and the joy of coming together IRL.
