Celebrate the magic of the season with Christmas Flicks & Fireworks, the city’s newest coastal Christmas celebration!
Enjoy two festive evenings of Christmas markets, movies and fireworks by the beach in Surfers Paradise.
From 4pm discover the Surfers Paradise Christmas Twilight Markets brimming with handmade gifts, festive eats and local treasures.
Bring your picnic blanket, settle on the sand and enjoy a free cinematic experience under the stars from 7pm.

• Friday 12 December – The Santa Clause
• Saturday 13 December – ELF

Each night there’ll be sparkling fireworks at 8:30pm, the perfect festive finale!
Ride the G to Cavill Avenue or make your journey active and walk, ride, scoot or skate to the event.
Christmas Flicks & Fireworks is presented by City of Gold Coast.

Please note, Carols on the Beach will not proceed this year, we’re hopeful for its return in 2026.
