The Gold Coast’s buzzing live music scene will launch 2026 in style, with Gold Coast Women in Blues bringing together four of the region’s most electrifying female-fronted blues bands for a one-afternoon-only showcase. It all goes down Saturday 31 January, 12:00pm–4:00pm, at Mo’s Desert Clubhouse in Burleigh Heads.
Celebrating the power of soulful women in the local music industry, the event spotlights the dynamic artistry thriving across Southeast Queensland.
Expect four hours of raw, heartfelt vocals, driving rhythm sections, standout solos, and the grit that defines modern Australian blues—each band serving up its own sound, from classic influences to contemporary fusion and original tunes.
