Surfers Paradise has officially gone country, and no, this isn’t a drill, it’s a full-blown honky-tonk takeover. Rowdy Ranch Steakhouse has swung open its doors and ever since, locals have been boot-scootin’, bull-riding and brisket-devouring like they’ve been teleported straight to Lower Broadway, Nashville. It’s loud, lively and just the right amount of rowdy, the kind of place where dinner easily turns into a dancefloor moment.
The team chose Surfers for one simple reason: the energy. With foot traffic and nightlife that can keep up with the chaos, Rowdy Ranch was designed to be an all-in experience, think high-octane country bar vibes, live music, dancing and mechanical bull riding that calls your name (whether you’re ready or not). And when it comes to the menu, it’s all about big flavours and hearty feeds that’ll rope you in at first bite…or first grapevine.
Inside, the space is a full-throttle ode to Nashville honky-tonks. Timber finishes, western décor and glowing neon signs set the scene, while a dedicated bull arena, live music stage and plenty of room for line dancing bring the party to life. It’s immersive, a little chaotic in the best way, and guaranteed to have even the most city-slickin’ Gold Coaster feeling like they’ve just stepped onto the ranch.
