Tucked away in the lush Byron Bay hinterland, Crystal Castle & Shambhala Gardens is a nature-soaked sanctuary where towering crystals, tranquil gardens and mindful experiences come together. Visitors can start with the showstoppers: standing between the Crystal Guardians, the tallest smoky quartz geodes ever discovered, reaching an incredible 5.5 metres before stepping inside the Dragon Egg, a 120-million-year-old amethyst crystal cave that guests can sit within.
From there, it’s time to wander through the 20-tonne Enchanted Cave, sparkling with millions of amethyst crystals, then explore five hectares of subtropical botanical gardens.
