Cheekii: rebranded and refined

Coastal Cosmetic Clinic has a new name and postcode.

Cheekii, Clear Island Waters (Image: © 2026 Inside Gold Coast)

If there’s one thing the Gold Coast knows how to do, it’s a glow-up – and cosmetic clinic Cheekii has just taken that concept and injected it with more it-girl energy than you can poke a needle at. Formerly known as Coastal Cosmetic Clinic, this cult-favourite aesthetic clinic has recently hard launched a catchy new name, a sleek, breezy new water front location, and a vibe that’s equal parts polished, playful and effortlessly cool.

The name change alone is doing a lot of heavy lifting. Cheekii is memorable, modern and, well, a little bit cheeky which is exactly the energy founder Brittany and her team bring to the world of aesthetics. It’s less stiff medical clinic, more relaxed-chic aesthetic clinic with the same magnetic pull as a killer lipliner.

After saying farewell to their Bundall digs, Cheekii has now popped up in beautiful Clear Island Waters in a serene, design-forward space. Enter via a chic deck and you’re instantly transported into a Pinterest board; calm, inviting, and ultra-aesthetic. A sanctuary that feels more like a trendy boutique than an aesthetic clinic.

Think moody terracotta, burgundy, mocha and blush tones, floor-to-ceiling gridded windows overlooking the water and an arch wall. Add copper pendant lights glowing softly overhead and creamy wall sconces and you’ve got yourself a space that’s as photogenic as the faces walking out of it.

Cheekii, Clear Island Waters (Image: © 2026 Inside Gold Coast)
Cheekii, Clear Island Waters (Image: © 2026 Inside Gold Coast)

And while the look has changed, the heart of Cheekii is still very much Brittany and her powerhouse team. We live in an era where A LOT of us ‘needle’ little pick-me-ups and indulge in a tweakment from time to time. Not to keep up with the Jones’ but because it makes us feel like the best version of ourselves. That’s Brittany and her team – your secret weapon in nailing that natural, fresh as a daisy, ‘I haven’t had anything done’ look.

Cheekii, Clear Island Waters (Image: © 2026 Inside Gold Coast)
Cheekii, Clear Island Waters (Image: © 2026 Inside Gold Coast)

That philosophy is what truly sets Cheekii apart. This is not a one-size-fits-all, freeze-everything kind of clinic. Brittany and her fellow Cosmetic Nurse Caitlin actually listen.  They dive into fun conversations about your aesthetic dreams and what you’re hoping to achieve, so they can create a look that’s totally you. And the best part? They keep it real! If a treatment isn’t right for you, they’ll give you the honest scoop rather than just nodding along. It’s all about finding that perfect balance between stunning and natural! And with more than 320 glowing five-star Google reviews (and counting), it’s clear this approach is working. And they’re downright cool, fun, and down-to-earth – the kind of chicks who make you wonder if the real lift came from the treatment or the banter.

Whether you’re dealing with volume loss, fine lines, dehydration, pigmentation or just want a little glow-boosting magic, Cheekii offers the full kit-and-kaboodle. From LED light therapy and radio frequency micro-needling to aesthetic treatments and the cult-fave bio skin healer Rejuran®, they’re basically running a full-service glow lab.

The rebrand isn’t just a name swap, it’s a statement. It’s Brittany and her protégés stepping into a new chapter that reflects how they’ve evolved and become a levelled-up version of their already incredible selves; absolute ballers in their field with warmth, personality and trustworthiness for days. New name, new space, same iconic results. Cheekii has had the ultimate rebrand moment and honestly, it looks flawless. So let’s get Cheekii.

Glow with the flow

Coastal Cosmetic Clinic is changing the face of beauty on the Gold Coast.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Coastal Cosmetic Clinic has rebranded to Cheekii

Let’s face it: aesthetic medicine has copped its fair share of side-eye over the years, but times are changing as celebs are coming clean to fans about their surgeons and favourite treatments. These days, it’s less about looking done and more about looking like you on your best day, every day. And right here on the Gold Coast, Coastal Cosmetic Clinic is leading that fresh-faced revolution.

Coastal Cosmetic Clinic, Bundall (image supplied)
Coastal Cosmetic Clinic, Bundall (image supplied)

Thinking about dipping your toes into the world of aesthetic treatments but feeling a little nervous? You’re not alone, and you’re definitely in good hands at Coastal Cosmetic Clinic. Nestled in the dreamy Bodii Lane beauty precinct in Bundall, this hidden gem is where locals go for that fresh, well-rested glow (no explanations needed).

Coastal Cosmetic Clinic, Bundall (image supplied)
The team at Coastal Cosmetic Clinic, Bundall (image supplied)

The best part? The team here feel more like your newest besties than clinicians. Their clients often say it feels more like a catch-up than an appointment – 20 minutes of laughs and life chats, and maybe five minutes for the treatment. Whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth, you’ll leave feeling like your most confident self – minus the drama.

At the heart of it all is Brittany Dolan, a Registered Nurse and a boss babe who took a $70K leap of faith to build her dream. Spoiler alert: it paid off.

Coastal Cosmetic Clinic, Bundall (image supplied)
Coastal Cosmetic Clinic, Bundall (image supplied)

Brittany started young. Like, 19-and-in-operating-theatres young. After diving straight into her nursing career post-high school, she specialised in orthopaedic surgery while slowly building a business on the side. Fast forward nine years, and Coastal Cosmetic Clinic is now home to three powerhouse injectors, five treatment rooms and over 200 happy clients each month.

The aesthetic industry has often been misunderstood, and, let’s be real, a little judged. Brittany and her team are smoothing out more than just wrinkles though, and are redefining what beauty means in a world that’s finally embracing natural enhancements. You won’t find fake promises here, just honest conversations, treatment plans that work with you, and results so natural, even loved ones are none the wiser.

“I have clients who have been coming to me for over six years and their husbands still don’t know they have work done.” said Brittany.

Coastal Cosmetic Clinic, Bundall (image supplied)

With glowing reviews, the proof is in the plump (in the most subtle, sculpted way, of course). What sets this team apart is they care about you. And they’ll politely decline a treatment if it doesn’t align with their values because not every frown line needs freezing, and sometimes the best glow-up comes from saying no.

As the aesthetic landscape shifts, Coastal Cosmetic Clinic is ready for the next chapter, evolving with the industry and carving out a niche with its less-is-more mantra and no-BS approach. Nestled inside the collaborative hub of Bodii Lane, Coastal Cosmetic Clinic is surrounded by ample parking and like-minded businesses including a skin therapist, brow artist and HIFU specialist, which makes it feel like a beauty bestie hangout.

From a single monthly client to a 60-hour-a-week with three Registered Nurses on the team, Brittany’s journey is a reminder that success doesn’t have to shout. Sometimes, it’s soft, thoughtful and quietly powerful. Just like the work they do.

7 Gold Coast New Year’s resolutions you’ll want to keep

New year, new me (minus the excuses).

Purling Brook Falls, Springbrook (image supplied by Destination Gold Coast)
Purling Brook Falls, Springbrook (image supplied by Destination Gold Coast)

New year, new vibes, right? It’s that time when gym sign-ups go through the roof, booze intake nosedives, and we’re all feeling a little too smug about our kale smoothies. How long does it last? Honestly, your guess is as good as ours.

The whole “new year, new me” thing might feel like a broken record, but hey, we’re here for the effort. After all, anything you do post-2025 is bound to be a glow-up, right?

So, to help you start 2026 on the right foot (and hopefully stick to it), here are some Gold Coast-approved ways to kick off the year.

Neptune Kiosk, Tallebudgera Creek (Image: © 2024 Inside Gold Coast)
Coffee from Neptune Kiosk, Tallebudgera Creek (Image: © 2024 Inside Gold Coast)
Get your nature on

If your festive season was more party hard than Pilates strong, it’s time to put “move your body” back on the agenda. Hit up a hidden waterfall (unless we get cray cray rain), head to a dreamy picnic spot, or set a personal goal to keep a plant alive for longer than your last gym phase. If caffeine is your spirit animal, explore our coffee-with-a-view spots and soak up the stunning scenery. You might even stumble upon a furry friend or two.
Our pick: Grab a coffee from Neptune Kiosk and enjoy the morning vibes overlooking Tallebudgera Creek.

Support local

If Miami Marketta is already your go-to, it’s time to branch out. There’s a world of live music venues, quirky local markets, and small businesses to explore. Make 2026 the year you shop small, support big, and maybe even snag a sparkly new accessory from a Gold Coast jewellery brand.
Our pick: A new pair of earrings from YCL Jewels or Frankly My Dear.

POT Studio, Tugun (image supplied)
POT Studio, Tugun (image supplied)
Get artsy

Unleash your inner Picasso (or at least give it a whirl) at a Paint & Sip sesh or try your hand at a pottery class. The Gold Coast is practically bursting with artsy opportunities to get those creative juices flowing.
Our pick: Catch the Ken Done: No Rules exhibition at HOTA

Spend more time with friends

Make “more hangouts, less group chats” your mantra. Go barefoot bowling, book a bottomless brunch, or splurge at one of the GC’s many fine dining establishments. And don’t forget, the Gold Coast’s beaches are basically one long playground for good vibes and great company.
Our pick: Grab a picnic and catch the sunset on Burleigh Hill. It’s a vibe.

The Tropic (image supplied)
The Tropic (image supplied)
Give back

Start the year with good vibes by decluttering your space and donating to local op-shops. Or, go on a treasure hunt and find pre-loved gems that make you feel good about your wallet and your impact. We’ve got a list of other local charities here if you’re keen to get involved.
Our pick: Bag a bargain and a good deed at the same time. Win-win.

Get fit & healthy

Not already on the fitness train? Are you even a Gold Coaster? Hop on, stat. From gyms and yoga studios to beach runs and scenic hikes, the Gold Coast makes staying active easier than saying “yes” to avo toast. Want to chill instead? A soak or float session might be more your speed. Or it might be your year of taking time out for yourself at a lush day spa.
Our pick: Pop on your favorite playlist (or podcast) and jog along the beach footpaths and esplanades. Sunshine and steps, done.

Eat & drink more consciously

Let’s face it: January is the month of fresh starts, so swap out the burgers for acai bowls and throw in some vegetarian meals. But don’t forget, moderation is key, because life’s too short not to treat yourself (occasionally).
Our pick: Test drive an alcohol-free cocktail next time you’re out. Every other drink counts!

Here’s to 2026 being your Gold Coast glow-up year. Let’s do this!
