First Wave of Summer Festival

Get ready to ride the First Wave into summer! On Sunday, October 5, the Broadwater Parklands will come alive with the First Wave of Summer bash.

The free 18+ community event will be a high-energy celebration of sunshine, sound, and sport, uniting music lovers and footy fans for one unforgettable day.

Set under the open air and balmy weather, punters will dance the day away with live performances from top-tier acts, including the chaotic energy of Dune Rats, UK electronic legend example (bringing a special halftime show), crowd favourite Tenzin, punk icons The Bennies, along with Toby Gregan of Skeggs famed new project GREG, and rising talent Kessin.

As the sun dips, the vibe shifts into full party mode, leading up to a live viewing of the NRL Grand Final, an epic showdown that’ll be hosted on the big screen for all to enjoy.

This is a free event, but registration is essential as space is limited. Attendees must be 18+ and will need to register in advance to secure their spot.
