Madame V Inaugural Sake Dinner with Australia’s First Female Sake Samurai

Madame V will host its first-ever Sake Dinner on Thursday 19 March 2026, offering an immersive evening of refined Japanese cuisine paired with premium sake in the heart of Palm Beach.

The exclusive event begins with a 6pm arrival and features a thoughtfully curated five-course menu by Executive Chef and Owner Daniel Ridgeway. Each course will be expertly paired with a selection of sake and liqueurs from Déjà Vu Sake Co.

Guiding guests through the experience is Yukino Ochiai, Director of Déjà Vu Sake Company and Australia’s first female Sake Samurai, one of the highest honours in the Japanese sake industry. A WSET Level 3 Japanese Sake educator and international sake judge, Yukino will share insights into brewing traditions, flavour profiles and the cultural significance of sake, adding storytelling and expertise to every pairing.

The menu includes dishes such as tuna with pickled cucumber, avocado mousse and radish, sticky pork ribs with black vinegar caramel, and a shared main of miso salmon with sweet white miso and pickled cucumber alongside seared magret duck with teriyaki and shaved black truffle, served with cucumber and seaweed salad and steamed jasmine rice. Dessert rounds out the evening with baked meringue with matcha and white chocolate cream, raspberry and rose, paired with a yuzu liqueur.

Tickets are $165 per person, with pre-payment required at the time of booking.
